US Citizens Required COVID Tests

Effective January 26, 2021, the CDC has ordered anyone traveling to the United States must have a negative COVID19 test no more than 3-days before boarding their flight. Below are some helpful resources. We will update you as we learn new information. Cost ranges from USD 48 to USD 300 depending on the individual need.

Three tests available:

1. Rapid test $850 pesos
2. PCR, results 2-4 days, $4,000 pesos
3. PCR, same-day results, $6,000 pesos

We highly recommend working with your airline with any questions and keeping up-to-date with the CDC.

Assume one is coming for a 2-week trip and prefer the same day test. One could budget 429 pesos per day for travel to receive the most expensive test.
