The government of Jalisco is concerned about those who are not vaccinated and the Delta Variant. The governor has called on businesses to assess their protocols. Chachalaca shares the government’s concerns and has continued to follow COVID protocols since reopening last summer. We are committed to guest and employee safety and continue to follow protocols, such as
- We keep our venue at less than 50% capacity. While you may see people at the six tables in the front of the bar, we are not near our total capacity. We will not increase beyond 50% until cleared by the government.
- We require masks, hand wash or sanitize, and temperature check upon arrival. It is important to note that protocol does not require customers to wear masks once inside. Chachalaca employees encourage customers to wear a mask when leaving a table.
- All employees wear a mask 100% of the time. Great news! Our team is nearly 100% vaccinated; however, employees will continue wearing masks until further guidance from the government.
- We are an open-air venue. We use oscillating fans to move air and diminish airborne delivery.
- Tables spaced for comfort and safety.
- We use the recommended bleach and water cleaning solution on all surfaces. We clean throughout the day and clean tables and chairs when guests leave.
Chachalaca is committed to coming through the pandemic with all of you. We understand that people want to go out and have a great time. We know that Chachalaca can do that for our guests safely. If you have questions about our protocols or anything else, please email us at info@chachalacabar.com. We appreciate your support and hope to see you soon.
