Creating a name for a new business is a task that requires a lot of thought. We wanted a name that eluded fun, represented our brand, and native to our host country. Going through months of names, was like choosing a name for our new baby. It was important to us that the name reflects the Mexican style. On our journey for the perfect name; we came across a native bird to many parts of Mexico, the Chachalaca Bird. The Chachalaca Bird is known to live in trees and can be noisy at times. We discovered that when someone is talkative; Mexicans may call them a chachalaca, meaning the person is a chatterbox or a chatty Kathy. We wanted our place to be a place for chatty people. We want people who visit us to have fun with friends or maybe make new ones; therefore, Chachalaca Puerto Vallartas Chatterbox & Bar was born! It is also fun to say Chachalaca. We love that nationals know what the name implies and how fun it is to help tourists learn to pronounce Chachalaca. We are proud of our venue and appreciate all the chachalacas that visit every day!
